June 21, 2011 // Franchising.com // OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. – Following a four-day retreat near Lake Tahoe, Calif., ColorTyme commemorated the end of the 2011 Summer Meeting with an entertaining closing dinner. The franchisees, vendors and their families were greeted by falling snow in the elaborate winter-themed ballroom, where they dined and danced to a live band.
Bob Bloom, ColorTyme CEO and president, was impressed with the dinner along with the meeting as a whole.
"No ColorTyme Summer Meeting would be complete without a fun final night event, and I think this year's was one of the best," said Bloom. "Overall, it was a very successful meeting thanks to the participation of our franchisees and vendors. I am thankful for everyone who joined us to network and socialize together as a company in such a beautiful location. We couldn't have asked for more."
Highlights of this year's Summer Meeting included an all-day business conference with industry updates and auction-like "Quick Buy" sessions where present franchisees could purchase best-selling merchandise discounted by vendors. Attendees also enjoyed recreational activities like the annual Willie Talley Golf Tournament, an outing to Truckee and Donner Lake, and lunch at the nationally renowned diner, JAX at the Tracks.
The 2012 ColorTyme Summer Meeting will be held in Park City, Utah June 20 - 24. Also scheduled is the ColorTyme National Convention January 22 - 25 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Frisco, Texas.
