New Formats & New Impact for Card Connection's Greeting Cards!

June 24, 2011 // Franchising.com // New impact has been created in the Red Herrings Badge range which has evolved from using a 'traditional' common-sized circular button badge, to shaped badges that are custom die-cut into any shape that creatively best suits each particular design.

The Novelty insert Funny Bitz cards get a refreshed art style and a host of new novelty items, from luggage tags to fake gold coins. While the Tall card format adds a new Luxury Tall range, sporting full colour on the inside and is displayed open-wrapped to show off this added-value and improved impact.

"Quality and choice are key ingredients to the continued successful sales of our greeting card designs," explains Andrew Cutler, sales and franchise director of Card Connection. "In addition, the award winning merchandising service provided by our team of 75 franchisees across the UK, ensures our valued retail customers can benefit from regularly updated stock, optimally displayed, which in-turn encourages purchasing behaviour.

"For our Franchisees, constantly updated designs mean they always offer the very latest trends in greeting card designs," continues Cutler. "By providing stock to suit any occasion or demographic, our franchisees optimise the revenue stream from their own businesses, as well as being able to supply the highest quality of merchandise and service to retailers."

The new cards will be distributed by Card Connection's network of franchisees to more than 15,000 retail outlets throughout the UK including BP, WHS Travel, Budgens, Londis, Spar and Palmer & Harvey.

Card Connection has limited vacancies for franchisees who are keen to run an expanding business. Successful candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

Because the franchise networks in the UK and Ireland are complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000 (+ stock) with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum. Territories currently available include the Kings Lynn/Bury St Edmunds, Brighton/Eastbourne and Milton Keynes/Bedford. For further information go to: www.card-connection.co.uk
