CEO of Pearson USA School business, Peter Cohen, Joins Primrose Schools Board of Directors

July 12, 2011 // // ATLANTA – Primrose Schools, the nation's leader in high quality educational child care, announced today that it has recruited Peter Cohen, the CEO of Pearson's U.S. School business and a highly respected and successful business leader in the field of education, to serve on the company's Board of Directors.

For the last three years, Cohen has overseen Pearson's US pre-K through high school instructional print and digital programs, and educator effectiveness services. Primrose Schools currently uses Pearson's Big Math for Little Kids curriculum in the company's 220+ schools across the nation.

Cohen will help Primrose Schools further enhance the high quality early childhood education that it delivers nationwide by leveraging his knowledge of effective instructional solutions and 30 years of multi unit franchise leadership.
