Juice It Up! Launches Mobile Ordering App

Prominent Smoothie and Juice Bar Chain Enhances Customer Experience Through Full-Service App

Irvine, CA, September 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Since its inception in 1995, Juice It Up!, a franchised smoothie and juice bar chain that specializes in blended-to-order fresh fruit smoothies, has embraced technology to improve the customer experience and with the recent launch of the Mobile Ordering App, the Irvine, CA based company has become the first smoothie giant to offer a mobile ordering application, making the products they want fast and easy to order from a mobile phone.

Unlike any other app in the smoothie and juice industry, the Mobile Ordering App not only allows iPhone and Android users to place orders for any menu item at a store of their choice but also allows them to pay directly from their phone. When the customer arrives at the restaurant their order is ready for them. Using the phone's built-in GPS, the app directs customers to the nearest location. Once a purchase has been made the credit card information is safely stored for future purchases. Purchases can also be saved as favorites for fast reordering.

By the year 2015 shoppers are expected to spend about $119 billion on goods and services purchased from their mobile phone, according to a 2010 Mobile Research study conducted by ABI Research. Frank Easterbrook, president and CEO of Juice It Up!, recognized early on the growing opportunity for mobile commerce to improve the customer experience.

"We live in a busy society; we want to do everything we can to help the consumer and our customers minimize their wait time because it's important to them and that's important to us," said Easterbrook.

″Critics of mobile ordering feel it makes the customer experience impersonal but in reality it does the opposite. It allows the on-the-go customer to place their orders privately and conveniently, nestled in between their daily business and lifestyle activities,″ said Carol Skinner, senior director of marketing for Juice It Up!. "Our goal is to meet the customer's needs wherever they are and in whatever manner works for them, whether that's in-store or through their mobile device."

Developed by Colorado-based Splick-it, the application is available for download via the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace. Mobile ordering has been launched to all franchise locations with the anticipation of getting all locations online by year end 2011.

Juice It Up! President and CEO Frank N. Easterbrook says the company is on track to increase same store sales by six to nine percent in 2011, despite the recent economic downturn. For more information, visit www.juiceitup.com.
