Spicy Pickle(R) Sandwich Company Announces Development Plans for Five New Stores in Nevada

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Nov 1, 2011) - Spicy Pickle Franchising, Inc. (OTCQB: SPKL) (PINKSHEETS: SPKL), the Denver-based fast-casual franchising company, announced today that it entered into a new development agreement with its existing Las Vegas-based franchisee for the development of five additional Spicy Pickle® Sandwich Company locations in and around Las Vegas, Nevada. This release represents the company's third announcement of new franchise and development agreements this month, coming right on the heels of planned developments in Canada and Qatar.

The Las Vegas developer, Lynelle Robison, currently operates two Spicy Pickle Sandwich Company restaurants in the area. By entering into this new development agreement, Robison agrees to develop the new Spicy Pickle locations over the next three years. Ms. Robison said, "We recently opened our second location in Las Vegas, and our guest response has been terrific -- they love the freshness of our food and the restaurant's new look." The second and newest Spicy Pickle Sandwich Company restaurant in the Las Vegas area is located at 7271 Amigo St. #180 Las Vegas, NV 89119; it opened for business earlier this year on August 9. Ms. Robison continued, "As a longtime member of this community, I'm bullish on Las Vegas, and I am excited to continue developing this great brand."

Peter Wright, Spicy Pickle Franchising, Inc.'s Chief Development Officer, noted, "Our guests really embraced us in Las Vegas. We're delighted with Lynelle's continued commitment to Spicy Pickle and the Las Vegas market, and we expect her new locations to really take off."

Ms. Robison hopes to have her third Spicy Pickle location open and ready for guests within a year.
