Alamo Drafthouse Promotes Craig Paschich To Divisional President And Tim Reed To Chief Development Officer

November 22, 2011 // Franchising.com // Austin, TX - Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has promoted Craig Paschich to Divisional President and Tim Reed to Chief Development Officer. Mr. Paschich and Mr. Reed will continue plans to expand Alamo Drafthouse Cinema into new territories.

In his new role Mr. Paschich will be charged with oversight of the company’s daily operations and the induction of new franchise partners. Alamo has been fortunate to have Mr. Paschich serving as Chief Development Officer, and prior to that as Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Paschich has been with the Alamo since February 2008 and prior to joining the company, Mr. Paschich served as the Executive Director of Operations for Creative Host Services as a consultant in their Western region and was with Carino’s Italian Grill as Vice President.

Tim Reed will be taking over Mr. Paschich’s previous role as Chief Development Officer and will focus on the exhibition aspects of the business. In addition to his new role, Mr. Reed has been asked to join the Board of Directors. Mr. Reed held the position of Senior Vice President, Real Estate for Alamo Drafthouse Cinema since October 2010. Before joining the Alamo team Mr. Reed served as SVP of Development for Village Roadshow Gold Class Cinemas, and also served as SVP of Real Estate for Hollywood Theatersfrom 1999-2006 and Act III Theaters from 1987-1999. Prior to these appointments Mr. Reed worked as Director of Development for Dubinsky Brothers Theatres and for Paramount Pictures Corporation as a member of the company’s distribution team.

Alamo Drafthouse opened as a single-screen theater in downtown Austin, Texas and the company has grown to include 13 theater locations in Texas and Virginia in addition to expanding as a lifestyle brand with Drafthouse Films, Fantstic Fest & Mondo. Expansion into new markets like the upcoming Denver, Colorado location is a key part of the Alamo Drafthouse’s growth strategy.
