FASTSIGNS International, Inc. Launches Test of New Brand Extension
CARROLLTON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FASTSIGNS International, Inc. begins the New Year with a brand extension test. “Brand Imaging Group, Powered by FASTSIGNS®” is a full-service visual identity creation, high capacity production and fulfillment brand extension currently being tested by the FASTSIGNS center in Antioch, Tenn., which is owned by Scott Snoyer.
“We chose the Antioch, Tenn. FASTSIGNS as the first test center because it is our highest sales volume location with the most extensive collection of production equipment and vast project management experience; this location exceeded $5 million in sales in 2011.”
FASTSIGNS International decided to test a brand extension to see if it could help high production capacity FASTSIGNS centers capture larger projects and larger customers, in different industry segments.
“Scott has been a leader in the FASTSIGNS network for many years, and we are pleased to extend the opportunity to be the first franchise partner to test this brand extension to see if it helps him secure different and larger types of sign, graphic, printing and visual communications projects and customers in his market,” said Catherine Monson, CEO of FASTSIGNS International, Inc. “We chose the Antioch, Tenn. FASTSIGNS as the first test center because it is our highest sales volume location with the most extensive collection of production equipment and vast project management experience; this location exceeded $5 million in sales in 2011.”
Future use of the brand extension will depend on test results, which will include measurements of sales growth, average invoice, incremental new high volume customers, annual sales volume of the top 25 customers and other factors.
“Combining the two—the powerful FASTSIGNS brand name with a second name that includes the words ‘brand’ and ‘imaging’—could expand people’s perception of what FASTSIGNS provides,” said Monson. “Growing our brand, and expanding the products and services we offer, has been our focus for many years. From cut vinyl when we first began in 1985, to printing in the 90s, to full-service digital sign systems and mobile web sites today, we will continue evolving and learning.”
