CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Jan. 10, 2012) - Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery introduces made to order Oatmeal in all of its cafes. Customers can choose 3 of their favourite toppings at an Oatmeal Customization station to build their oatmeal their way.

Good Earth's Oatmeal is hearty, slow cooked steel cut oatmeal. Steel cut oats are minimally processed and have a lower glycemic index than instant oatmeal, causing a lower spike in insulin levels when consumed. A serving of Good Earth oatmeal contains 10 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. Oatmeal continues to grow in popularity as a breakfast option that is healthy, quick and can be eaten on the go. It's an easy item for busy customers to carry out with their morning coffee.

Good Earth has a wide variety of toppings available that include:

  • Coconut
  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Butterscotch Chips
  • Peanut Butter
  • Craisins
  • Granny Smith Apples
  • Bananas
