Janitorial Firm Hosts Annual Meeting in Norman, Gives Annual Awards to Area Managers and Cleans Young Life Building.

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alliance Maintenance, a janitorial franchising company, held its annual meeting in Norman on January 12th and 13th. Norman is the headquarters for this janitorial contracting firm that was founded by Neil Boyd over 28 years ago. Alliance has 14 area managers that manage over 250 franchise owners. These franchise owners provide cleaning services to more than 700 buildings in six states.

The annual meeting was for area managers and featured a hands-on training session on how to clean efficiently using the newest equipment in the cleaning industry, a philanthropic project with Young Life of Norman, and an all day conference focused on teaching skills in the following areas: leadership; management; sales and janitorial.

On January 12, Alliance hosted a Janitorial University for its area managers at Wildwood Community Church in Norman. Alliance showed its area managers some of the newest equipment in the janitorial industry and allowed them to try it by cleaning parts of Wildwood Community Church. Later that afternoon, Alliance sponsored a service project where area managers and company owners successfully cleaned the Young Life building in Norman, which is approximately 4,500 square feet. Young Life is a non-denominational Christian ministry that reaches out to kids through volunteer leaders. It has a building in Norman that it uses for office space and to host ministry-related events.

On January 13, Alliance hosted an all day conference where Mr. Boyd, the President of Alliance, cast his vision for the company. Mr. Boyd also spoke on effective selling techniques. Alliance held an awards ceremony for area managers at the conference where it gave awards and cash prizes to the customer retention champion, the customer acquisition champion and the total billing champion. Scott Frakes of Alliance Maintenance of Oklahoma City was the total billing champion. Ron Robertson of Alliance Maintenance of St. Louis was the customer retention champion.
