COA Listed in Child Care Exchange's Top 50 For-Profit Child Care Organizations

January 24, 2012 // // Each year, Childcare Exchange Magazine, one of the foremost child care program periodicals, publishes The Exchange Top 50, listing the largest for-profit child care organizations in North America. Over the years, Children of America has quickly climbed the list, making the number ten spot for the 25th Annual Status Report on For-Profit Child Care.

"We are thrilled to have made the list," said Thad Pryor, Children of America President and CEO. "Children of America has grown exponentially over the last several years, and is honored to have been recognized for our dedication to quality educational child care."

The Exchange has been tracking developments in the for-profit child care sector for 25 years. CEOs of the organizations honored in the Exchange Top 50 were asked to reflect on the most significant developments in the sector over the past 25 years, citing everything from acceptance of the value of for-profit child care to the impact of technology.

"We are so honored to have been named along with so many other great organizations," said Jim Perretty, Vice President and COO of Children of America. "There have been so many developments in the industry over the last 25 years, and this honor cements Children of America's status as a leading provider of child care services across the country."
