Looking to keep those daunting promises on track, Snap Fitness, the world's leading franchisor of 24/7 express fitness centers, is looking to help people turn their resolutions into permanent lifestyle changes with its eight-week, $10,000 Lose Weight, Feel Great Challenge.

Kicking off March 1 and running through April 30, the Lose Weight, Feel Great Challenge - which will include regular, private weigh-ins, tips and live online chats with "Chad the Trainer" to answer questions and provide free online meal planning - will award $10,000 worth of cash prizes, as well as local prizes at the club level. Winners will be based on highest weight loss percentage.
The more social media savvy participants can also enter a chance to win additional gift cards or $500 by sharing their inspiring story on YouTube. Entrants must post a one-minute video on YouTube entitled "Snap Fitness Lose Weight Challenge" sharing their experience with the challenge. They must also send a link to the video to email@example.com along with their name and club location.
"Last year, we had nearly 12,000 members participate in the challenge, who lost a combined weight of 42,930 pounds," Taunton added. "We hope to double that number this year."
