Nurse Next Door Announces John DeHart as Sole Chief Executive Officer

Home care franchise system to be lead by a single CEO.

Vancouver, Canada, February 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Nurse Next Door, one of North America’s fastest growing franchise systems, announced today that John DeHart, Co-Founder and, for the last ten years, a Co-CEO, of Nurse Next Door, will step up as the single Chief Executive Officer of Nurse Next Door’s home care franchise system.

For ten years, John and fellow Co-Founder Ken Sim, have been jointly running the business they both started as Co-CEOs. Their success has been undeniable as they have built a business with heart. They have taken their concept from an idea at a coffee shop to an international, thought leading brand with 50+ locations serving thousands of clients in ten short years.

While success to date has been significant, to help guide Nurse Next Door’s franchise system through its next phase of growth, John will be stepping up as the sole Chief Executive Officer.

“I have been extremely fortunate to work next to Ken for the last decade,” says John. “Of course I am also excited about my new role with Nurse Next Door and the opportunity to continue to develop our franchise system into a globally admired brand.”

John will work with Nurse Next Door’s Board of Advisors and operational leadership team to drive towards its North American expansion goals. Most of all, this will include a rapid expansion through out the US market, where Nurse Next Door currently has two locations.

Ken, meanwhile, will put his strengths to best use as the Chief Executive Officer of a separate new subsidiary company that will focus on strategic, long-term opportunities and innovations for Nurse Next Door. Fully committed to the success of the company, he will continue on with the strategy of Nurse Next Door at the board level as a director.
