Quotes: Jennifer Liebl Owner, Just Between Friends of Houston

“The kind of growth our company has seen over the past few years is unparalleled,” stated Jennifer Liebl, Owner, Just Between Friends of North Houston. “Before the economy began to struggle, some people were a bit sheepish about consignment shopping. Our shoppers were generally people who were very much in need of a bargain. Then when things became tough, we saw a whole new group of shoppers that lead to what we thought was a temporary increase in sales. However, those increases have become our new norm,” she stated. “People who never would have thought of consigning their children’s items have now become loyal customers. Everyone is seeking value. It seems the new trend is getting the most for your money regardless of your economic status,” remarked Liebl.

“Our consignors love the fact that they can make money by selling their gently used clothing and items while bettering our community through our area charities. Additionally, shoppers are thrilled when they see beautiful, brand-name and designer merchandise at a fraction of what the cost of retail stores,” said Liebl. “A savings of 50-90% off retail is enough to make a huge difference in a family budget. It is truly is a sale where everyone wins - our consignors as they sell their items, our shoppers as they enjoy remarkable savings, and our community as our preferred charities receive a portion of our proceeds and surplus merchandise,” she said.

“One of the results of having the sale largest in the City is that we attract shopper from all walks of life,” said Liebl. We are particularly proud of this. In addition to your typical soccer moms, we have foster parents, grandparents raising their grandchildren, and even a few single dads. We take extra care to assist these non-traditional parents as they seek bargains. Their resources can be so tight and they very much need a place like JBF to shop to make a difference in their household budgets.”

***Interview with Liebl may take place between now and sale end date of Sun, April 1st for advance taping or scheduling purposes. Early opportunity for interview and visuals at Pre-Sale, Thu, March 29th***
