Juice It Up! Launches Juice Cleanse System

Five Orange County-Area Stores Offer 100 Percent Organic Three-Day Juice Cleanse

April 11, 2012 // Franchising.com // Irvine, Calif. - Juice It Up!, recognized as Southern California’s original juice and smoothie bar, announces the launch of the first-ever Juice It Up! Cleanse, a three-day juice cleanse consisting of six freshly-pressed 100 percent organic juice blends per day that help repair, rejuvenate and reset your body. The Juice It Up! Cleanse debuted at five stores in Orange County, Calif. in early April with plans to launch it at all Juice It Up! raw juice bars by the end of 2012.

The Juice It Up! Cleanse is different from other cleanses on the market because it infuses 15 pounds of 100 percent organic produce into each day’s worth of juice, made with a cold-press process that extracts up to four times more nutrients than other juicing methods. A three-day Juice It Up! Cleanse contains nine fruit and vegetable blends, six hydration blends, and three nut milk protein blends for a total of 18 juices, all custom designed for maximum energy and nutrient absorption. The freshly-pressed, unpasteurized juice comes in easy-to-follow numbered bottles, and a convenient day tote is included with each order for handy storage on the go.

The typical American diet is filled with foods that are processed, packaged, and served with additives, hormones, and preservatives. Many foods have been genetically changed and many are chemically processed or heat-treated, stripping away the natural micronutrients and enzymes, leaving us with food that is nutritionally void. Chronic fatigue, inflammation, depression, constipation, restless sleep and allergies may be the result of the standard American diet. The Juice It Up! Cleanse was designed to replace three days’ worth of meals, flushing the body of toxins and flooding it with nutrients to help detox the body and kick-start a healthy lifestyle.

The most common results after just three days on the cleanse may include weight loss, increased mental clarity, happier mood, more restful sleep, the abundance of natural, sustainable energy, improved digestion and increased cravings for raw foods, fruits and vegetables. The average amount of weight loss experienced as the result of a three-day cleanse is between one to eight pounds.

“I like to think of it as getting rid of the caffeine highs and food coma lows with a pleasant side affect of losing a couple of pounds”, said Carol Skinner, senior director of marketing for the brand.

Juice It Up! began transitioning their stores to raw juice bars in 2011 and saw a cleanse system as a natural progression product.

“Last year, we felt the need to add more meaningful products, including our raw juice blends and now the Juice It Up! Cleanse to our product mix. It’s about meeting the needs of our customers and being true ambassadors of juice and advocates of all the benefits it delivers,” said Skinner.

Juice It Up! is a franchised juice and smoothie bar chain that specializes in fresh-squeezed raw juices, blended-to-order real fruit smoothies, açaí bowls, and other healthy snacks and beverages served in a vibrant, energy-infused environment, replete with the sound of blazing blenders and the aroma of fresh-squeezed juice. The Juice It Up! Cleanse is currently available at the following Orange County stores: San Clemente, Aliso Viejo, Santa Ana, Irvine and Tustin.
