Johnny Rockets Brings Back Fun Dining Experience to Baltimore's Waterfront

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., April 30, 2012 // PRNewswire // -- Johnny Rockets joined the "inner circle" of the Inner Harbor yesterday as it opened a new restaurant across from the newly renovated Food Court in Harborplace's Light Street Pavilion. Its menu of delicious, all-American favorites served in a fun, timeless ambiance makes it the perfect dining destination for tourists and local residents exploring the National Aquarium of Baltimore and the Maryland Science Center, touring the historic ships, attending a concert at Pier Six Pavilion, or experiencing the myriad of other fun activities that Baltimore has to offer.

An international restaurant chain that offers the food, fun and friendliness of feel-good Americana, Johnny Rockets is the place to go for friendly service, flavorful food, uplifting music and relaxed, casual fun. Their simple, great-tasting food includes mouthwatering Hamburgers, hand-spun Shakes, and American Fries served with their trademark ketchup smiley face. Of particular interest to families visiting the Inner Harbor is their Rocket Kids menu for children 12 and under. Mini Hamburgers, Chicken Tenders, Mini Hot Dogs or Grilled Cheese are served with kid-sized American Fries and their choice of a kids' beverage.

Johnny Rockets joins an illustrious group of other merchants opening new establishments or renovating existing locations at Harborplace, including Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., McCormick World of Flavors, and J.Paul's Restaurant. The new 835-square-foot location is owned and operated by Johnny Rockets franchise partner Mohammed (Ben) Saba.

"We're thrilled that Johnny Rockets is once again part of the vibrant Inner Harbor community," said Johnny Rockets President and CEO, John Fuller. "People come from all over the world to experience Baltimore's tourist attractions, and we're excited to offer them a fun dining experience before or after their sightseeing excursions."

The new Johnny Rockets is located in Harborplace's Light Street Pavilion, at the intersection of Light Street and Pratt Street. The restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
