ColorTyme Holds Grand Opening for New Store in Troy, New York
June 05, 2012 // Franchising.com // TROY, N.Y. – Colortyme, Inc., the nation’s first franchisor of independently owned-and-operated rent-to-own stores, celebrated the opening of its newest store in Troy, N.Y. with a Grand Opening celebration on Friday, June 1.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by local business and government leaders, including City Council member Jim Sullivan, who joined store owner Tom Glogowski in the official ribbon cutting.
Following the official opening of the store, Glogowski announced the winners of various giveaways, including a brand new 32-inch television and DVD players.
"It's no surprise that an industry veteran like Tom has seen such great success and become a multi-store owner,” said ColorTyme CEO Cathy Skula. “I know he and his team look forward to giving the people of Troy the same outstanding service and name-brand products they have given to their customers for years. We are very excited to continue ColorTyme's growth with this new location.”
The new location is the second ColorTyme store for Glogowski, who serves as Vice President of the New York Rental Dealers Location. He is also owner of the ColorTyme branch in Queensbury, N.Y.
ColorTyme Troy is located at 720 Hoosick Road in Troy, and its hours are 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday. The store will be closed on Sundays.
Like all ColorTyme stores, the new Troy location offers a variety of convenient payment plans without a credit check. The owners and staff intend to give residents a unique rental experience by creating a hometown atmosphere with superior customer service.
