Local Youth Sports Program Offers a New Opportunity to Grow The Game of Golf!

The United States Open Golf Championship is coming to San Francisco next week and all eyes will be on the Olympic Club and the golf industry.

June 07, 2012 // Franchising.com // If you are looking for a unique golf story to write about or cover leading up to the United States Open, then consider the local TGA Premier Junior Golf programs, which are impacting thousands of young people locally each year. The TGA story is a wonderful story to tell about a new and unique way to grow the game of golf that no one else has ever done before.

With the recent attention the golf industry is giving to growing the game initiatives and the announcement of the new Golf 2.0 initiative by the PGA of America, the golf industry is looking for and focusing on new types of initiatives that will increase participation and grow the game of golf for the future.

TGA has quickly become one of the "new generation" initiatives at the grass roots level across the country. What makes the TGA program so unique is how it has developed a full service sustainable business model through franchising. These engaged franchise owners become vested in the business with a model that is successfully growing the game of golf through local schools nationwide.

The TGA programs, which can be taught anywhere indoors or outdoors, provides a teaching curriculum unlike any other junior golf program. Designed specifically for schools, utilizing educators and PGA professionals, TGA incorporates math, science, English, and history, along with life skills, health, and fitness into each class. This specialized program continues to attract thousands of schools nationwide including hundreds of schools in the San Francisco area.

If you are interested in doing a story about the local TGA programs in the next week leading up to the United States Open, or in the future sometime, please contact me below. We can conveniently arrange interviews for television segments or print stories with the local TGA franchise directors at area schools, as well as provide professional photography.
