Nurse Next Door Home Health Care Franchise Opens First U.S. Location

Franchise System Led Home Health Care Revolution in Canada; Plans 25 More U.S. Locations in Next Year

VANCOUVER, BC - (Marketwire - Aug 1, 2012) - Nurse Next Door's cheerful, holistic approach to home health care has revolutionized the industry in Canada. Today, the franchise system opens the first of a series of locations in the United States, seeking to transform a field too long focused on merely extending life instead of celebrating it.

The first operational American Nurse Next Door location is in Mission Viejo, Calif., and owned by Tony Uzzi, a 54-year-old former nurse and pharmaceutical company executive who wanted more control over his career and more meaning in his work. Uzzi said he was especially drawn to the business' adherence to its core values: admire people; offer WOW customer experience; find a better way; and be passionate about making a difference.
