New Fresh Coat Painters Franchise Extends Connecticut Services Southwest of Hartford

Joseph Rossitto may be just 22 years old, but he’s already setting his own course with the launch of his Fresh Coat Painters franchise to serve Wethersfield, Conn., and its surrounding communities.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) August 30, 2012 - Joseph Rossitto knows the importance of surrounding yourself with “smart people” on the road to success in life. With the launch of his Fresh Coat Painters franchise in Wethersfield, Conn., he’s already seeing the benefits of following a proven business model.  People see me as a kid,” he said, but he has confidence he’ll win them over with the Fresh Coat focus on service. “It’s a unique system run by smart people with good business experience.”

“We’ve already completed our first job, and the client was very satisfied,” he said. “They want me to come back and give them another quote on their deck.”

That first job involved removing wallpaper and then painting, but it wasn’t just the appearance of the finished project that impressed the clients, he said. “What they really appreciated was that we showed up when we said we would, and we were done when we said we’d be done. And, we didn’t charge upfront for the work.”

That commitment to clients is the cornerstone of the Fresh Coat Painters business model and one that Rossitto embraces fully. “It’s a unique system run by smart people with good business experience.”

Bernie Brozek, president of Fresh Coat, said its franchise owners understand the importance of building a business by providing services that are noteworthy. “Just as Joseph describes, his clients noticed that the crew showed up when it said it would and completed quality work in a specified period of time. Those basics are often ignored by many in the painting industry.”

With the Fresh Coat system, clients get priority from their initial phone call throughout the project and into the follow-up, Brozek said.

“Our owners direct their attention to promoting and growing the business while our onsite managers and painters – always employees, never subcontractors – provide quality services on time and on budget,” he said.

“Clients get the best skills of each person all along the way. When clients are happy, they call Fresh Coat again and recommend Fresh Coat to others. Owners see business growth because of their happy clients.”

Rossitto said he’s confident in the system. His biggest challenge has been his age. He’s just 22.

“It does affect credibility,” he said. “People see me as a kid, and some of them have had bad experiences with the painting company that is made up primarily of college kids.”

But, this 22-year-old has experienced more than most others of his age. His mother was a software engineer before beginning her battle with cancer when Joseph was just 14 years old. His father endured a tough upbringing in Italy before coming to America at 15. He worked two jobs to support his family before earning a degree and becoming a financial adviser.

Rossitto inherited his parents’ intelligence and stick to itness, and decided after his first job at age 16 that he’d prefer to use those traits to set his own course.

“My father never got the chance to go to college, and that’s what he wanted for me,” Rossitto said. “I opted instead to go into the Navy, where I studied nuclear engineering, one of the toughest programs around. I decided I didn’t want that as a career, so I started looking at business options.”

He attained moderate success with a couple of endeavors, then opted for a Fresh Coat franchise because he seesits long-term potential. “It’s still small enough that the cost is reasonable. It’s like being able to buy one of the first Subways or first Starbucks. Those were initially low-cost, but now they’re worth millions. Like those franchises, we’re filling a niche that needs to be filled in the marketplace.”

Rossitto also had no difficulty finding painters who wanted to be part of his vision.

“Finding painters was a breeze,” he said. “I knew some people already, and within a week, I had more interested. They want to be part of a professional team where they can use their knowledge and skills.”

Brozek said Fresh Coat has heard similar comments. “Painters want to paint. They may or may not want to handle the marketing, scheduling, insurance, billing and other paperwork. With our system, our owners handle those things, thus allowing painters to focus on what they do best.

“We also offer our owners additional tools to help them better serve their clients such as a 24/7 call center, a proprietary EPIC estimating system, Paint Now-Pay Later same-as-cash financing, Automatic Touch-Up for businesses, and fund-raising opportunities for charities.”

Those perks help ensure clients feel valued from the start, Rossitto said, and that’s a smart way to run a business.
