Son of Baconator Sets Out to Feed Hungry Fans

Ultimate Baconator® Challenge Tour comes to ASU Friday, November 2, 2012

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) October 29, 2012 - Wendy’s® Baconator® is putting his offspring, Son of BaconatorTM, to the test to see if he can earn his “strips” by touring America with the Ultimate Baconator® Challenge Tour, a nationwide journey aimed at finding and rewarding a league of Baconator Approved fans. The tour will be stopping in Tempe, Arizona on November 2, 2012 between the hours of noon and 6 P.M. Free Son of Baconator™ sandwiches, samples of Wendy’s Frosty™ desserts, gift cards, and bacon-themed T-shirts and merchandise will be given away during these hours, coinciding with the scheduled ASU volleyball game being held at the Wells Fargo Arena located at 600 East Veterans Way.

“I know bacon because I am bacon, and I trust my son to find the most worthy bacon lovers in America,” said Baconator. “I dare you to ‘meat’ your match on a tour stop near you to take my challenge.”

In 2011, Wendy’s debuted the Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy™ Cheeseburger on the Hot ‘N Juicy Tour of America bringing cheeseburgers to people across the country. This year, Wendy’s will bring the Son of Baconator, added to Wendy’s menu in July, straight to the mouths of fans. The Son of Baconator stacks four strips of center-cut, Applewood Smoked Bacon onto two 2.25-ounce patties of 100% pure, North American, fresh, never frozen beef*. This hearty bacon cheeseburger is topped off with two slices of melted American cheese, ketchup and mayonnaise and served on a premium buttered, toasted bun.

Fresh beef available in the contiguous United States and Canada.
