Instant Imprints Hires Industry Veteran as Director of Franchise Development

Victor DeSio Joins Company During Strategic Franchise Growth Phase

October 31, 2012 // // SAN DIEGO – Instant Imprints, North America’s innovative network of promotional products and sign retail centers, announced today the appointment of franchise growth expert Vic DeSio to Director of Franchise Development for the western region of the United States.

“With our aggressive expansion plans underway, we need someone with Victor’s expertise to lead our franchise development efforts,” said Ralph Askar, president and CEO of San Diego-based Instant Imprints. “He has a track record of growing franchise systems and implementing processes that result in attracting high-quality franchisees.”

DeSio joins the Instant Imprints team with a proven track record and more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of franchising including, development, operations and support. The New Jersey native’s previous experience includes successfully implementing reorganization of a dormant franchise program at Jenny Craig and managing operations at Mail Boxes Etc. during a period of exponential growth.

“This opportunity means the world to me,” said DeSio, who earned his MBA in marketing from San Diego State. “It is imperative that we attract the right franchisees and area franchisees to support our expansion, and, I am thrilled to be leading this charge.”

Instant Imprints welcomes DeSio amid the company’s aggressive North American development phase, which calls for more than 500 new centers throughout the United States and Canada.

The hire of DeSio to the Instant Imprints corporate team continues the company’s successful focus on strategic expansion that began with the organization’s foray into franchising in 2002.

“I’ve been around the franchise business model my whole life. My first job as a teenager was at my family’s Mail Box Etc. shop,” said DeSio. “I have seen what it takes for a franchise concept to grow and to separate itself from competitors. Instant Imprints is part of a rare group and I’m excited to join the team on the cusp of extraordinary growth.”

Awarding single and Area Franchise agreements, as well as Master License developer opportunities around the globe, the Instant Imprints investment is ripe for experienced franchise investors as well as individuals transitioning into entrepreneurship from corporate positions.

Complete with comprehensive training, site selection support, marketing programs and the purchasing power of the Instant Imprints’ network, the business model has been cultivated to cater to high quality candidates that understand the value of the proven system. The Instant Imprints franchise fee starts at $29,950.
