Villa La Paws Pet Resort and Spa is Recognized as an SBA-Approved Franchise

The Pet Resort and Spa Franchise Programis Appointed to the National Franchise Registry

November 13, 2012 // Franchising.com // PHOENIX – Villa La Paws, a cage-free pet resort and spa franchise based in Phoenix, Ariz. has been selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to join the ranks of its Franchise Registry and approved franchise program. The approval means a simplified and expedited financing process for new and existing franchisees.

To be approved for the Franchise Registry, which is in partnership with the SBA, Villa La Paws underwent the SBA Eligibility Review process, of which only select business opportunities are accepted by the SBA. Today, approximately just 19 percent of all franchise systems receive approval to join the Franchise Registry.

“When we developed the franchise program for Villa La Paws, we recognized the importance of streamlining the financing process for franchisees,” said Tom Murray, Villa La Paws CEO and president. “Financing is often one of the most challenging hurdles for any small business owner. Loan applications for SBA-approved franchises benefit from a streamlined review and application process because the franchise is pre-approved, making the procedure less complex.
