Wendy’s Unveils New Restaurant Design in Goodyear, Arizona

Location found at Litchfield Road and West Van Buren Street has re-opened to the public; Ribbon cutting ceremony, grand opening party and charitable contribution to the Desert Edge High School Band scheduled for December 4th, 2012

Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) December 03, 2012 - Customers can experience an ultra-modern new Wendy’s® when they visit the remodeled restaurant at 1178 N. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. The residents can also come out on December 4, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. to help support a local cause.

A celebration will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. The festivities include a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by members of the City Council of Goodyear and the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. In addition, the Desert Edge High School band will be performing as a thank-you for the donation that will be given to them as a part of the grand opening celebration. (A percentage of proceeds during the hours of 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. will benefit the local band.)

The newly remodeled locations feature an innovative exterior design inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, and incorporates many modern features in the interior including flat panel TV’s, Wi-Fi access and docking stations, and a variety of seating options. “This remodel is all about enhancing the customer experience” said Division Vice President Operations, Diane Weed. “It’s very different from what our customers are used to but we think they’ll really like the look, the feel, and the new offerings of the restaurant.”

The company conducted nationwide research and studied every aspect of the customer’s restaurant experience. Based on this feedback, Wendy’s completely overhauled the interiors and exteriors of four different designs. This restaurant features a red blade element boldly cuts through the space, creating impact on both the interior and exterior, and floor to ceiling windows at the front allow ample daylight to penetrate the restaurant. The restaurant has a new customer ordering process, digital menuboards, the Coca-Cola Freestyle® which offers over 100 beverage choices, and a few test products only offered in these restaurants.

“These new remodels are part of a multi-year strategy to reinvigorate our brand and the way our customers interact with us,” Weed said. “This brand strategy involves completely re-imaging our entire menu, new advertising and marketing, new restaurant apparel and product packaging. We are making great progress in all of these areas, and we think our customers will be surprised and excited about their new Wendy’s.”
