Fort Collins Chapter of Seniors Helping Seniors Looking for Even Bigger and Better Things in 2013

FORT COLLINS, CO - (Marketwire - Jan 23, 2013) - By all accounts, 2012 was a year to remember for those involved with the northern Colorado franchise of Seniors Helping Seniors, a senior care services organization. The agency provided a number of different services, sponsored several events and expanded its staff.

Now with 2012 behind us and 2013 upon us, Seniors Helping Seniors of northern Colorado believes the new year could be bigger and better.

"That is absolutely the way I feel," said Seniors Helping Seniors owner Linda Gabel. "We did some amazing things in 2012, but there is no reason why we cannot make 2013 even better. We have some wonderful people behind this meaningful and important senior homecare organization. We are all very excited about what's in store for this upcoming year."

Part of a national franchise, the Fort Collins chapter of Seniors Helping Seniors of northern Colorado provides a lot of meaningful and needed services. From overnight care to small house repairs -- this senior homecare agency offers services with the added benefits of companionship and friendship.

Senior care services may consist of meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation and just spending quality time with a senior friend. The light housekeeping likely comprises of vacuuming, dishwashing, laundry, dusting, ironing and going grocery shopping. Seniors Helping Seniors also provides personal senior care services that could include bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene and grooming assistance.

Seniors Helping Seniors focuses on finding the best senior caregiver match for each senior's unique needs.

In addition to the stellar services Seniors Helping Seniors of northern Colorado provide, they also have no shortage of fun. The agency participated in a sold-out event at the Lincoln Center, sponsored by Poudre Valley Hospital in which attendees danced to the tunes of the iconic Frank Sinatra and had a fun holiday lunch at Austin's on Harmony in December.

"Since we are all seniors taking care of other seniors, we have many friendships within the agency," Gabel said. "We're always trying to think of new and creative ways to have a great time -- both with each other and with our clients. We're going to have plenty of smiles and laughter together in 2013."
