Regina Rodriguez Honored by Colorado Hispanic Bar Association

Denver (31-January-2013) - Faegre Baker Daniels is pleased to announce that Regina M. Rodriguez, a partner in the firm's Denver office, has received the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association's Chris Miranda Outstanding Hispanic Lawyer award. This award is presented annually to an outstanding Hispanic attorney who has shown a continual commitment to the Hispanic community and the principals of the legal profession.

Rodriguez, a partner in the firm's product liability and environmental practice groups, was selected based on the unprecedented commitment she has shown to the mission of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association and the needs of the Latino communities. Rodriguez is a Commissioner with the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, a member of several boards serving the community and has logged hundreds of hours of time handling pro bono cases — from participation in re-districting litigation to representation of pro bono civil rights matters.

In her practice, Rodriguez focuses on defense of medical drug and device cases, as well as other products. She also defends clients in government investigations.

"It is quite an honor to follow in the footsteps of Chris Miranda," said Rodriguez. "He set the bar high for all of us and it is humbling to be honored by my colleagues in his name. Mentoring the next generation is essential for today's generation and I am very pleased that I am able to serve the community in this capacity."

Rodriguez graduated from the University of Colorado Law School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. She received her award at a banquet held on January 26 at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver.
