Pop-A-Lock of Honolulu Named a Finalist For BBB Torch Award

April 03, 2013 // Franchising.com // Pop-A-Lock of Honolulu has earned recognition once again, this time as a finalist for the BBB Torch Award. The recipients of this award are judged based on trust, performance, and the integrity in which they conduct business.

Dwight Kealoha, chief executive officer of Hawaii’s BBB says, “This year’s finalist reflect our mission as leaders in advancing trust in Hawaii’s marketplace. We honor their dedicated efforts toward an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers, and charities and donors can trust each other.”

The finalists are judged by representatives of past Torch Award winners. For 2013, Pop-A-Lock of Honolulu was selected as a finalist with several other businesses out of 45 nominees in the Small Business category. In addition to being named a finalist, Pop-A-Lock of Honolulu will be featured in the May issue of Hawaii Business Magazine.

Mr. Kealoha added, “The BBB Torch Award program celebrates businesses and public charities that demonstrate and maintain solid commitment to high standards for trust and accountability.”

The owners of Pop-A-Lock of Honolulu, Jack and Cathy Walker are committed to fair, honest, and ethical practices – the foundation of the BBB organization. The Walker’s are excited about the nomination and look forward to the awards luncheon to be held April 18 at the Sheraton Waikiki.
