Franchisor Has Eye On Portland, Oregon For Large Growth In Senior Assisted Living Placement Franchise This Year

CarePatrol senior assisted living placement franchise looking to increase sales in Portland.

Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) April 07, 2013 - Senior care has proven itself to be one of the strongest sectors in the franchising world. A growing sub-section in the senior care franchise industry is Senior Assisted Living Placement services. The oldest senior placement franchise in this sub-section of senior care is CarePatrol Franchise Systems, LLC. CarePatrol is a 19 year old company that helps families find assisted living, independent living, memory care and in-home care for seniors needing more help to maintain a safe living environment. They began franchising in 2013 and have granted over 20 franchises last year alone.

CarePatrol’s CEO, Chuck Bongiovanni states that “One of our focus markets this year will be in Portland, Oregon. Portland has over 800 assisted living options for seniors needing care.” Ken Keely, owner of CarePatrol of Portland agrees, which is why he has decided expand his territory to add an additional 4 to 5 franchises in the Portland area.

Ken plans on becoming an Area Developer in Portland for those franchisees, meaning that he will supervise, help develop and coach the new franchisees who are granted the license for a CarePatrol franchise. Ken has been working his territory over 2 years and now feels that the timing is right to concentrate and expand the Portland, Oregon territory.

CarePatrol works with families who need care outside of the home in the form of assisted living, independent living and memory care communities. Once Ken and the corporate office grant a franchise license to the right individuals in Portland they begin a concentrated training program. Training starts in Gilbert, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix and lasts 5 days. Following the week at the corporate office, new franchisees will receive 2 visits from the corporate trainers for a total 4 days to begin developing and marketing their protected franchise territory.

Training doesn’t stop there. Throughout their first 16 weeks, the new franchisees will go through an intensive 16 week coaching program which includes online and live webinars, group conference calls and telephonic one-on-one sessions with their coach. One of the advantages of becoming a new franchisee in the Portland area is that they will also have a coach on the ground and down the street in Ken Keeley.

Franchisees also have to pass a national certification class to become a Certified Senior Advisor. This may seem like a lot of work, but the benefits far outweigh the intensive training. Satisfaction is one of those benefits. CarePatrol has won the Franchisee Satisfaction Award for the past 3 consecutive years. The franchise satisfaction award is given by the Franchise Business Review who give thousands of franchisee annual surveys and then correlate the data to see which franchises have the greatest satisfied franchisees. CarePatrol have been winners in the under 50 franchise unit category.

Not only are the franchisees satisfied but so are CarePatrol clients. CarePatrol franchisees perform their services free of charge to the families looking for care because they are reimbursed by the senior housing community that the family chooses to have their loved one move into. Commissions in the Portland Area are between 70% and 100% of the client’s first months’ fees. According to a 2012 Metlife Study, the average assisted living monthly fee in Portland is $3,300.00 per month with memory care costing much more.

Although, if you do the numbers, you can see that this can be a lucrative adventure for the right person, but nothing is more rewarding than being able to help seniors find a safe place to call home.

At the end of the day a family’s problem is solved knowing that their loved one is now safe in an assisted living home or community because of the work of a CarePatrol franchisee like Ken and the next lucky few who will be granted a franchise of their own in the Portland, Oregon area.

Those interested in becoming a CarePatrol franchisee follow an 8 step process which begins with an introductory webinar and a franchise application which can be found on http://www.CarePatrolFranchise.com.
