April 25, 2013 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, GA – Atlanta-based, fast fine concept, Fresh To Order (f2o) announces its two new high-traffic Atlanta units – one in Concourse B of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and in downtown’s CNN Center. The airport location, now open, is operated by Concessions International (CI), principal concessionaire of foodservice offerings on ATL’s Concourse B. The company-owned CNN Center restaurant is slated to open late summer and will be 9th for the brand.
The airport Fresh To Order, the chain’s first non-traditional venue, features a quick menu – a selection of popular gourmet sandwiches, salads and soups. Design of the 575-square foot unit incorporates recognizable concept elements that have been adapted to the smaller space.
The CNN Center unit is another highly visible location for the 7-year-old concept. CNN Center is home to the CNN world headquarters, Turner Broadcasting System, and the luxury Omni Hotel.
“These new locations are fresh and exciting territory for us,” said Pierre Panos, Fresh To Order founder and CEO. “Our partnership with CI will benefit busy world travelers – and the CNN Center venue exemplifies our focus in driving growth via company-owned operations and franchising.”
CI is also invigorated by their partnership with Fresh To Order. Awarded the ATL Concourse B concessions contract last June, the company quickly identified Fresh To Order as a uniquely local concept that would contribute a sense of place for travelers and locals alike.
"We want ATL travelers to experience Atlanta’s best,” said Donata Russell Major, CI’s CEO. ”Which is why the renowned and innovative Fresh To Order is our first partner for this program.”
Founded in 2006, Fresh To Order (f2o), the pioneer of the innovative, “fast-fine” restaurant segment, combines the quality of food found in casual fine dining with the operating platform and price point of fast casual. Founded on the vision of “Incredible Food, Service and Facilities”, f2o serves a menu of freshly prepared entrees, Panini sandwiches, soups and salads in under 10 minutes for around $10.
