East Coast Sub Sensation opens in Woodbury
Owner Celebrates Grand Opening with Free Subs
May 1, 2013 - Woodbury, MN - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled East Coast-style subs, officially opened its doors in Woodbury on April 24. Franchise owner Brian Risch held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, April 24 to Sunday, April 28 to support Woodbury Middle School and Woodbury High School.
The new restaurant, located at 7455 Currell Boulevard, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Woodbury Middle School and Woodbury High School. Half of these coupons will be designated for donations to the middle school and the other half for the high school. Students at Woodbury High School will also receive coupons offering 50 percent off a regular sub with minimum $1 donation to their school.
Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's continued its steady growth in 2012 opening 92 new restaurants throughout the country, a 33 percent increase in new store growth over 2011.
