Provo, UT (PRWEB) May 07, 2013 - Fast-freezing ice cream company, Sub Zero has received another Best of State award for its innovative dessert concoctions. With its energy saving and entertaining approach to ice cream, Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt produce quality desserts while giving back to the community.
Since opening in 2004, Sub Zero has expanded to more than 25 stores throughout the U.S. and will open stores internationally starting next month with Abu Dhabi. By using liquid nitrogen to flash-freeze ice cream according to each customer's preference, Sub Zero appeals to any ice cream lover.
"With more than 37 Trillion ice cream combinations available, Sub Zero can satisfy a sweet tooth anytime, anywhere," said Peter Black, Marketing Director of Sub Zero Ice Cream. "But most importantly, Sub Zero's ice cream can create a tasty dessert for gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and sugar-free diets."
As Sub Zero Ice Cream expands, CEO Jerry Hancock develops new ways to give back to the community while creating quality desserts. Currently, Sub Zero Ice Cream has an education program where employees teach elementary school children the science behind Sub Zero's ice cream. Each child also receives a bookmark that encourages daily reading by rewarding them with a sweet treat after 20 days of consecutive reading.
"It's not enough to make a product and sell it to the community," Hancock said. "Businesses should look for ways to contribute and make a difference instead of just make a profit and that's what we are trying to do with our education program."
