Rainbow Academy® of Manalapan Opens Its Doors (and Hearts) To Children of Monmouth County

Manalapan Township Early Learning Center is Newest Addition to Growing New Jersey-Based Child Care Franchise Company

June 04, 2013 // Franchising.com // Manalapan Township – On June 3, Rainbow Academy® of Manalapan opened its doors for the first time to the children of Monmouth County. The fourteenth location franchised by the New Jersey-Based family of early learning centers, this latest addition is owned by Nick and Prachi Gupta, local residents and proud parents of two young children. Working alongside the Gupta’s, Kristen Frank will serve as the Director for Rainbow Academy of Manalapan. Having been a Rainbow Academy teacher and Assistant Director over the course of the last three years, Frank has high hopes for the success of the new child care facility based upon the early response from local families and businesses.

“Our reception has been overwhelmingly positive,” explains Frank. “We are so pleased with the enthusiasm from the local community as they anticipate Rainbow Academy opening in Manalapan. We have teamed up with other local businesses to help support one another, and we have held events to start building that feeling of an extended family within the community. We’ve gone the extra mile to reach working parents by visiting the commuter bus stops, and handing out free donuts and coffee. There is so much we love about being part of this community, and we will be looking for other special ways to meet the needs of businesses and parents.”

Located at 357 Route 9 South in Manalapan’s Town Pointe Plaza, the newest Rainbow Academy will offer extended-day, year-round educational programs for children as young as 6 weeks through Kindergarten, in addition to all of the same stellar qualities that have become synonymous with the well-respected child care company in the years since it launched its first center in 1997. Unique offerings such as ParentView® internet monitoring and the newly released Tadpoles® parent e-communication tool help working parents feel connected to their children throughout the day. State-of-the-art initiatives like interactive whiteboards in the classrooms not only serve to bring learning to life for Rainbow Academy students, but also introduce them to technology at an early age – something that will serve them well throughout the span of their educational futures. Advanced security systems include internal video monitoring, silent alarms, and biometric finger scanning entry – all of which provide parents with peace of mind, knowing that their children are safe and secure while at school.

“There's so much that sets us apart from other local child care and early education providers,” says Frank. “For starters, we know that the quality of the relationships we form and the service we provide will ultimately transform the lives of those we touch. That is why we take care to treat each family member as our own...and that is just the beginning. Caring is at the core of what makes Rainbow Academy Early Learning Centers so special. Through Rainbow Academy’s Circle of Care philosophy, we specialize in caring for the needs of the entire family - children AND parents. You must care about the parents in order to receive the opportunity to care for their child, and you must care for the child in order to establish the bonds necessary to educate and nurture them.”

On Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Gupta family, Kristen Frank and the rest of the Rainbow Academy of Manalapan staff will play host to a Grand Opening Celebration at the new center. The festivities will include a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Susan Cohen; plenty of tasty treats between a candy wheel, popcorn, cotton candy, and an 18-foot gourmet food truck; lots of fun with face painting, inflatables, sand art, dance party, carnival games and prizes; vendors offering exclusive specials for attending families; the chance to enter to win a spectacular gift basket; facility tours and classroom learning activities with whiteboard demonstrations. Families who enroll in a full-time program on Grand Opening Day will be eligible to receive a $1,200 tuition credit for the year, valued at $100 savings per month. But the benefits to enrollment in the new school don’t stop there.

“Rainbow Academy is a family-owned-and-operated center,” says Frank. “We understand what families are looking for when one or both parents work, and we operate our centers as if our own children were enrolled… and many of them are! In short, everything we do revolves around family - theirs and ours. Our educators are not only warm and nurturing, they're all certified. What's more, every center operates at or better than the state child/teacher ratio requirements. Our employees are an important part of the Rainbow Academy family, and we give them the best we can offer. In turn, our students benefit by having the advantage of continuity of care. The way we see it, happy employees mean happy children. And that's one of the very best things that sets us apart.”

Summer camp and regular school enrollment are currently underway at Rainbow Academy of Manalapan. The center is open and available to tour during business hours. Prospective families are encouraged to visit the center in order to appreciate how truly special the Rainbow Academy facilities are for their children. Interested parties are invited to call 732-292-3111 to set a time and date for a tour or simply drop by during weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
