WineStyles Tasting Station Celebrates Seven-Year Anniversary of Flagship Store

West Des Moines Wine Boutique to Host Celebration on Sept. 28 for the Local Community

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Sept. 16, 2013 // PRNewswire // - WineStyles Tasting Station®, a newly re-branded boutique concept dedicated to simplifying the wine and craft beer shopping experience, is celebrating its flagship store's seventh year in West Des Moines, Iowa. To honor this milestone, the brand will host a free event Saturday, Sept. 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at its store located in the West Glen Town Center at 5515 Mills Civic Parkway. A handful of the brand's distributors will be on-site showcasing the latest wines and craft beers, while local residents enjoy appetizers, music and special giveaways.

Last year, local residents and owners Bryan and Andrea McGinness purchased the existing WineStyles franchise system of over 30 national locations and spearheaded the conversion of its business model into the newly re-branded WineStyles Tasting Station, which included the recent redesign of the West Des Moines flagship store.

"Since opening our West Des Moines location in 2006, we've always been passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience for our guests," said Bryan McGinness, CEO of WineStyles Tasting Station. "Our newly redesigned store has been well-received by the local community and this is our way of thanking our customers who have contributed to our success."

WineStyles Tasting Station in West Des Moines offers a unique retail experience and warm ambiance that is reminiscent of an old-world wine cellar. Wines are categorized by style and taste, rather than by varietal or region, which helps to simplify the shopping experience. Each bottle is accompanied by a description listing the wine's characteristics, flavors and suggested food pairings.

Additionally, WineStyles Tasting Station in West Des Moines features a full wine bar with dozens of wines by the glass and a full selection of food, craft beers, fine chocolates, organic teas and gourmet coffee. Furthermore, the store offers a variety of gifts and wine accessories including customizable gift baskets, monthly wine, beer, and cheese clubs, and a frequent buyer program. The location also features weekly wine and beer tastings, private event opportunities, as well as education classes.

To fuel WineStyles Tasting Station's growth across Iowa and throughout the country, the company is seeking entrepreneurs with retail experience. WineStyles Tasting Stations will be developed through single-unit and area developer agreements.
