Smashburger Debuts Exclusive Raspberry Sorbet Shake to Benefit Susan G. Komen®

Limited-Time Only Häagen-Dazs® Raspberry Sorbet & Vanilla Ice Cream Blended Shake Made With All Natural Ingredients; Smashburger Also Guarantees Minimum of $25,000 Donation

DENVER - October 01, 2013(BUSINESS WIRE) - Smashburger, the rapidly expanding better burger restaurant concept, today unveiled an exclusive limited-time only Raspberry Sorbet Shake to benefit Susan G. Komen and in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The new shake will be available in Smashburger restaurants throughout the United States from Tuesday, October 1 through Thursday, October 31, 2013. The Raspberry Sorbet Shake is hand-spun and combines Häagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream with Häagen-Dazs Raspberry Sorbet for a perfectly blended treat. It retails nationwide for $4.49, with $0.40 of each Raspberry Sorbet Shake sold donated to Komen.

In support of the limited-time promotion, all Smashburger employees will wear a Komen pin in honor of Komen’s mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Each Raspberry Sorbet Shake is served with a matching pink straw and customers have the opportunity to make their own donation to Komen online at www.komen.org/smashburger. Customer donations will be incremental to Smashburger’s minimum guaranteed donation of $25,000.
