With the help of several food scientists, the company, headquartered in Plano, spent months perfecting and testing its recipe to assure customers it is gluten-free.

The new gluten-free line includes hand decorated sugar cookie bouquets, baskets and BouTrays together with three gourmet cookie flavors: Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Macadamia and Millionaire.
“Research suggests that 18 million people in our country suffer from a gluten sensitivity,” said Long. “We’re anticipating our gluten-free cookies and healthy energy bars will make up 10 percent of sales.”
