WineStyles Tasting Station Announces Conversion Of 15 Locations As Part Of Brand Revitalization

Largest Wine Boutique Franchise Continues National Rebranding Efforts

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Oct. 15, 2013 // PRNewswire // - WineStyles Tasting Station®, a newly re-branded boutique concept dedicated to simplifying the wine and craft beer shopping experience, announced today it has successfully converted 15 WineStyles locations across 10 states to its newly revamped business model. This latest milestone is part of the company's national efforts to revitalize and reenergize the brand under the new franchisor ownership team.

Interested candidates who purchase an existing WineStyles boutique will receive reduced royalties for the first two years of operation under the agreement that the unit will be converted into a WineStyles Tasting Station.

"We're thrilled to work with our franchise partners as they begin the conversion of their business," said Bryan McGinness, CEO of WineStyles Tasting Station. "Our dedicated franchisees recognize the strength of our growing brand and are passionate about what WineStyles Tasting Station stands for. In addition to reduced royalties, our conversion program offers an ideal opportunity for business owners who are looking to transition into an established business with an existing customer base."

In fall 2012, WineStyles Tasting Station's owners Bryan and Andrea McGinness purchased the WineStyles franchise system of more than 30 national locations and spearheaded the restructuring of its business model into WineStyles Tasting Station. Subsequently, the company celebrated its first conversion at the grand reopening of its flagship store in West Des Moines, Iowa.

To fuel WineStyles Tasting Station's growth across the country, the company is seeking entrepreneurs with retail experience. WineStyles Tasting Stations will be developed through single-unit and area developer agreements. Depending on the real estate site selected, franchisees can expect the total cost of investment for one store to be approximately $229,000 - $380,500. The initial franchise fee is $25,000.
