Minnesota-Based Let's Dish! Celebrates Ten Years of Creating Nutritious Family Dinners

MINNEAPOLIS - October 14, 2013 - Not many businesses make it to the 10-year mark so deliciously. For a decade in the Twin Cities, Let's Dish! has revolutionized the way busy families put dinner on the table. And it’s not fast food - it's homemade food prepared with fresh ingredients. At Let’s Dish! stores, customers make delicious, freezer-ready meals themselves in-store, to take home and prepare when they’re needed. Or, customers may order meals online, using Dish-n-Dash, and let the staff pull them together for easy pickup. Watch how it works here.

Let’s Dish! is celebrating 10 years of feeding busy families with celebrations on Tues., October 22, from 3:00-7:00 p.m., at all locations - in Eden Prairie, Apple Valley, Blaine, Maple Grove and Woodbury. At the open houses, visitors can enjoy wine tasting (5:00-7:00 p.m.), samples, and prize drawings - one $500 grand prize gift card and ten $50 gift cards will be awarded at each location. In addition, everyone can try dishing a meal (serves 4-6) for a family-friendly $15. (limit one per household)

"After developing the concept ‘from scratch’, we’re so proud to be celebrating a decade in business in the Twin Cities," says Darcy Olson, co-founder, Let’s Dish!. "What started as a better way to feed our own busy families has grown into something incredible - helping many overscheduled families bring balance to their lives. We look forward to serving it up and making life easier - and a little more tasty - for everyone for the next 10 years."

Meals are economically priced at less than $4 per serving, so families can afford to serve up 'real meals,' and be adventurous. Let's Dish! offers a new menu each month with 18 different options, so families can always try something new without having to scour grocery stores for rare ingredients or agonize over complicated recipes. Menu choices range from Cheesy Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas to Bourbon Glazed Meatballs with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, to Chicken Pad Thai, to Linguini Shrimp Scampi to Asian BBQ Pork Wraps. Customers can substitute ingredients to fit household tastes and dietary restrictions, whether they need to be heart-healthy, gluten-free, or kid-friendly options.

"No need to buy all the ingredients to try a new recipe - when you show up at Let’s Dish!, we've got it ready for you to prepare," adds Olson. "We answer that daily pain point for customers - what’s for dinner - in a healthy way, with outstanding customer service, craveable menus, ultimate convenience and a great experience."

Customers may browse the menu online ahead of time and then register for an in-store session to prepare their meals, order meals to pickup, or walk-ins may choose from one of the pre-assembled meals in the retail freezer case. Let’s Dish! offers an easy option for busy families trying to pull together something nutritious for dinner, or a great way to gather friends or co-workers to make meals together with a fun (and productive) outing.

And it’s not just about coming in and preparing food. Let’s Dish! offers timesaving, helpful services to support our community. Dish and Dash offers customized orders ready to grab and go. Families can order on-line and Let's Dish! will fill their specialty Dish and Dash meals for an additional fee. New mothers and families in crisis can receive Dish and Dash meals with a waived preparation fee. And while a Let's Dish! meal has always been a great gift for neighbors, now anyone in the five-state area can receive one by UPS with Gift Delivery.
