Smashburger Brings Back Salted Caramel Shake Nationwide
Better Burger Chain’s Salted Caramel Häagen-Dazs® Shake Back By Popular Demand
DENVER - December 09, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Smashburger, the rapidly expanding better burger restaurant, announced today that it is bringing back the popular sweet and salty holiday treat – the Salted Caramel shake – now available in all restaurants nationwide for the Holiday season. This hand-spun Häagen-Dazs® shake combines premium Häagen-Dazs® vanilla ice cream with Salted Caramel syrup, providing customers with an indulgent sweet treat to pair with one of Smashburger’s premium burgers or tender-marinated Smashchicken sandwiches.
"Our burgers and chicken sandwiches are created with premium ingredients and toppings and we will not sacrifice that quality with our shakes. What better way to top off your meal than with a creamy and indulgent hand-spun shake made with vanilla bean ice cream and Salted Caramel syrup."
The inspiration behind this refreshing and tasty treat came from Tom Ryan, Founder and Chief Concept Officer, who introduced the Salted Caramel shake in January 2013 as a limited time offer, knowing it would be an instant hit. Smashburger offers a variety of shake flavors, including regular limited time offers, and recently took to social media to ask fans what shake they wanted to see back on the menu this holiday season. The Salted Caramel shake was the clear winner amongst Smashburger fans.
"One of the things our guests love most about Smashburger is our thick and creamy hand-spun premium shakes, and our Salted Caramel shake has proven to be a fan favorite. Customers truly appreciate being served a shake with quality ice cream like Häagen-Dazs® and having the ability to order multiple flavors to pair with their meal," said Tom Ryan, Founder and Chief Concept Officer for Smashburger. "Our burgers and chicken sandwiches are created with premium ingredients and toppings and we will not sacrifice that quality with our shakes. What better way to top off your meal than with a creamy and indulgent hand-spun shake made with vanilla bean ice cream and Salted Caramel syrup."
Also back on the menu this holiday season are Smashburger holiday gift cards, complete with a bonus gift for the gift giver as well. Smashburger will be offering $5 in Smash Cash, valid January 1, 2014 through January 31, 2014, for every $25 gift card purchased.
