WIN Home Inspection Franchise Launches New Franchising Website

Home Inspection Franchise Provides Detailed Info for Those Interested in Starting a Business

December 17, 2013 // Franchising.com // MADISON, AL - WIN Home Inspection, America's most professional home inspection franchise, has launched a new franchising website (www.winfranchising.com) featuring Q&As with franchisees, video interviews with WIN's leadership team, startup costs and revenue figures, and details about training and support, the real estate industry, and how WIN stands out from competitors.
WIN expects to grow its franchise system in 2014.

"There is huge demand for home inspections," says President Steve Wadlington. "Ninety-nine percent of real estate agents recommend a home inspection, and 77% of home buyers get one -- and that means millions of opportunities a year for home inspectors. Those who perform the job well, and who run the business right, can build a very successful company."

WIN has been helping build thriving home inspection businesses for 20 years and has Strategic-Partners in 28 states, with territories available in all major markets. While many other home inspection businesses were driven out of the market by the recession, WIN has seen its revenue grow 35% over the past two years.

WIN owners come from diverse backgrounds.

"It really helps to be able to be in front of a group of people and talk to them," says Dennis Spencer, who serves Santa Cruz, CA, and surrounding communities, and who owned a grocery store before buying his WIN franchise. "If you take guys from the construction industry who've been a carpenter or electrician and compare them with someone who's used to public speaking in a business or sales background, I think the public speaker would outperform the technical guy. This is a people business."

Of course, experience doesn't hurt. Dewey Messenger helped build homes for 15 years before becoming a network engineer for Time Warner. When his job was moved to another city, he decided to stay put and open a WIN franchise.

"Owning WIN is the smartest thing I ever did in my whole life other than marrying my bride," says Messenger, who serves customers in Vancouver, Wash. "I wish I wouldn't have waited as long as I did."
