January 13, 2014 // Franchising.com // SAN DIEGO – Jack in the Box® restaurants today announced a $245,000 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters to help the organization provide mentors to children, including those from military families. Monies for the donation were raised during a holiday promotion at Jack in the Box restaurants, where the chain sold a limited-edition Toasty Jack ornament for $1. The annual holiday promotion, which marked its sixth year in 2013, has cumulatively raised more than $1.7 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life.
