Penn Station East Coast Subs Participates in Wounded Warrior Project®’s Our Turn to Serve

Penn Station Contributes to Veterans Support Program for Second Year in a Row

January 15, 2014 // Franchising.com // Milford, OH - Penn Station East Coast Subs partnered with the H.J. Heinz Company and Wounded Warrior Project® for the second year in a row to contribute to their Our Turn to Serve veterans support program. In 2013 they advertised in their restaurants to solicit contributions from guests for the Wounded Warrior Project®. In 2012 Penn Station East Coast Subs raised over $250,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project®, a number they hoped they surpassed last year.

"It is an honor to participate in Our Turn to Serve," said Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station, Inc. "We share the Wounded Warrior Project®’s commitment to the men and women who have served our country, and are always looking for ways to give back. With the help of our guests’ contributions we hope to surpass our contribution from 2012."

The Wounded Warrior Project® is a national, nonpartisan organization committed to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
