Seniors Helping Seniors® to Speak at UCC Women’s Library Club in Spring City, PA in February, 2014

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services provides elder care education as part of its community and senior services mission.

Pennsburg, PA, January 30, 2014 - (PR.com) - Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services provides elder care education as part of its community and senior services mission. On February 4, 2014, Brad Trout will be presenting a Dementia Overview to the Women's Library Club of the UCC Church at 145 Chestnut Street, in Spring City, PA at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Senior care topics reviewed during this event will include an overview of what is dementia, current treatments, ways to prevent dementia, how to spot early signs, and how to care for people with dementia.

"While Alzheimer's disease and related dementias are now the 6th leading cause of death in the US, people don't often know much about the disorder until someone in their lives is diagnosed," says Dara Trout, co-owner of Seniors Helping Seniors.

"Our goal is to provide basic information in clear language so that people can better understand the disorder before they are immersed in caring for someone with it," Brad Trout, co-owner, adds.

About Seniors Helping Seniors®

Seniors Helping Seniors® home care organization provides companionship, transportation, meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping and home maintenance services to seniors in Northern Chester, Western Montgomery, and Upper Bucks counties in Pennsylvania. Most elder care is provided by able seniors who get paid for their work.

Since many people explore the web for senior care information, Seniors Helping Seniors® has recently renovated their blog at www.heart4helpingseniors.com. By either visiting the blog or signing up for alerts of new posts, you can be kept up to date on a variety of topics of senior interest. About twice a month, a new article is published and since Dara is an avid reader, she also reviews books related to senior issues.
