Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt Introduces New Banana Flavor

Participating Orange Leaf Locations to Offer Tax Day Deal

OKLAHOMA CITY - March 31, 2014 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - As part of its "Year of the Flavor," Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is kicking off April with the introduction of its new Banana flavor frozen yogurt, made with real bananas and fresh skim milk. The flavor will be available at participating Orange Leaf locations across the country starting April 1 and will join Orange Leaf’s list of permanent menu items available throughout the year.

Also in April, customers interested in trying the new flavor (or any flavor, for that matter) can catch a break on tax day with the Orange Leaf Tax Day deal. On April 15, customers can fill their cup with froyo and toppings for only $4.15. To participate in the "fill your cup for $4.15" deal, customers must claim the offer from Orange Leaf’s corporate Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/orangeleafyogurt). On average, the deal amounts to approximately 50 percent off, depending on how much froyo and toppings a customer typically chooses.

Orange Leaf, America’s fastest growing froyo concept1, is celebrating the "Year of the Flavor" with a different featured flavor each month. The new Banana froyo is made with real bananas and fresh skim milk for a truly wholesome frozen treat. Customers are invited to invent their own culinary creations with the new Banana flavor, like all other Orange Leaf froyo flavors, by mixing, swirling, dividing or building the froyo with any combination of fruit, nuts, candy and other healthy or decadent treats from the do-it-yourself toppings bar. This also allows customers to control their portion size and nutritional value to fit their dietary needs and taste preferences. To inspire customers’ creations, Orange Leaf suggests the following "recipe" idea:

Banana Cream Pie: New Banana froyo topped with fresh chopped bananas, graham cracker crumbs and caramel sauce.

The new Banana joins the ranks of other customer favorites at Orange Leaf such as Birthday Cake, Mango, Salted Caramel and Pistachio. Customers become the chef when creating their own froyo treats, choosing from their local store’s customer-driven selection of 16 flavors, taken from the menu of 70 plus, including no-sugar-added, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan alternatives. These flavors are blended in proprietary machines that create a richer and creamier product than other froyo brands.

Orange Leaf customers can check their local store’s web page, or download Orange Leaf’s iPhone or Android app, to check the other flavors available at stores in April before they visit.
