New York Corporate Team Advises Investec in Solar Portfolio Project Financing

May 06, 2014 // Franchising.com // New York, NY - Dentons advised Investec Bank plc in the closing of US$130 million in project financing backing the construction of a 22 MW portfolio of solar power facilities and additional projects in development in the northeast United States. Partner Ata Dinlenç led the New York Corporate team, which included senior managing associate Viktoria Dallendorfer and associate Aisulu Masylkanova.

The transaction was arranged by Investec USA Holdings Corp. The overall financing is comprised of two tiers that closed simultaneously on April 25, 2014: a holding company financing provided by Investec Bank plc and a operating company loan provided by KeyBank N.A.

In addition to refinancing existing credit facilities, the new facilities advance debt capital through June 2015 for private equity firm and project sponsor True Green Capital Management (TGC). They support TGC’s development of a pipeline of solar assets and its commitment to socially responsible investing.
