May 28, 2014 // Franchising.com // HACKENSACK, N.J. - Executive Care announced today that it has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement to open offices serving two new territories in Northeast Ohio. It marks the company's first agreement to open offices outside of its home New Jersey market, and represents the organization's fifth and sixth franchise locations. The new locations will serve residents throughout the area's Mahoning Valley and Canton regions seeking skilled nursing and home health aid services.
Michael Creatore and Nick Kerpsack, local residents and the entrepreneurial tandem launching the business, bring a wealth management consulting, leadership development, finance and business start-up experience to their Executive Care investment. Together, they will take on operational, sales and marketing responsibilities in the business.
"This is another professional milestone for Nick and I," said Creatore, a longtime Northeast Ohio resident and a well-known business leader in the region who has established a strong reputation in Greater Cleveland through his management consulting firm and the regular appearances he makes on local newscasts and in the area's newspapers as a financial analyst and economic commentator. "We firmly believe in Executive Care and found it to be the best home care franchise fit for us. Our business is bringing an improved level of care to the communities we're serving so that families here can find the comfort they need for themselves and their loved ones."
Sensitive to the caregiving needs of those with illnesses and the local aging population, Creatore and Kerpsack launch Executive Care with a clear understanding that individuals should receive care where they are most comfortable - in their home. Their investment in Executive Care means Northeast Ohio will soon have a new level of skilled and non-medical care.
"This is more than just a business endeavor for us - this is a move to make an impact in our community," added Creatore. "Executive Care serves everyone, from young children to aging adults - creating lasting relationships in the communities it serves."
The new Executive Care office aims to bring up to 50 new jobs to the region in the next two years, and is looking to expand the home care agency's reach further.
"We're extremely excited to welcome Michael and Nick into our Executive Care family," said Lenny Verkhoglaz, CEO and co-founder of the company. "Given its demographics and growth potential, we consider Northeast Ohio to be a premier area to expand our home care services - and we're thrilled to have these two talented people at the helm for this expansion."
Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, Executive Care offers a variety of caregiving and skilled nursing services to help families often overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing care to a loved one - all while ensuring the patient remains in the comfort of his or her own home. In a crowded sector, the company has built a reputation from the ground up.
To guarantee the highest quality, Executive Care requires all prospective caregivers undergo an intensive pre-employment screening process, including a criminal background investigation, verification of references and an employment history check. All caregivers are insured, experienced and undergo skills tests and continuing education training. Registered nurses closely supervise and monitor all staff, conducting periodic evaluation assessments.
