Raising Cane's Invites Customers To Help Feed Hungry Kids

June 09, 2014 // Franchising.com // Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers announced it will once again participate in Share Our Strength's Dine Out For No Kid Hungry™ campaign to end childhood hunger in America. Raising Cane's fundraising drive will run June 8-14 at 140 participating restaurants nationwide.

This is the sixth year Cane's has supported the campaign, which is organized by Share Our Strength, a national not-for-profit organization that works to ensure no child in America grows up hungry. The initiative aligns directly with one of Raising Cane's core areas of community focus: Feeding the hungry.

"We are avid supporters of Share Our Strength because we wholeheartedly believe that no child in America should struggle with hunger," said Todd Graves, founder and CEO of Raising Cane's . "That's why, once again, we are encouraging Caniacs across the country to head out to their nearest participating Cane's and give generously to this important cause."

To bolster participation, Raising Cane's will give customers a "Buy One Box Combo, Get One Box Combo Free" thank-you certificate for every $1 donated during the week of June 8-14. Customers may donate any amount, in increments of $1, at any participating Cane's, with or without a purchase. The certificates may be redeemed on a subsequent visit through June 30 only.

"We work with hundreds of outstanding charitable organizations across the country every year, but this initiative is very near and dear to our hearts," said Graves. "And because Caniacs are always so generous, we wanted to provide a special reward this year to thank them for their support."
