Scott Mortier Returns to Froots, Named COO

June 13, 2014 // Franchising.com // Davie, Florida – Froots, a rapidly growing quick-service restaurant franchise, announced today it has appointed Scott Mortier as chief operating officer. With over 15 years of franchise industry experience, Mortier brings vast knowledge to the healthy food restaurant chain.

His expertise lies in developing strategic sales and marketing plans, and creating management tools in order to effectively manage all aspects of franchise growth. Mortier began his career as a multi-unit owner and area developer for Quiznos, where he sold over 250 franchises and developed more than 200 locations by managing the real estate and construction process. He also led franchise sales efforts for 123 Fit, a Denver-based fitness franchise company, before taking his talents to the food service and dental industries. He served as COO of Froots from 2006 to 2008, during which time the company posted a 14 percent increase in same-store sales. He is currently vice president of franchise sales for Dental Fix Rx, a mobile dental equipment and handpiece repair franchise company.
