Wellness Brand Osteostrong® to Sign Franchise Commitments on June 24 for 500 Units in 9 States

Unique Wellness System is Overhauling Modern Healthcare

June 18, 2014 // Franchising.com // Nashville, Tenn. – OsteoStrong hit the market in 2011 with a specialized system claiming to improve bone density, strength and balance. Founder and CEO Kyle Zagrodzky promised customers that in less than 10 minutes, once a week, a few simple exercises on a specialized machine could change people's lives. Oh, and customers wouldn't even break a sweat.

It sounded like a miracle cure that might just be too good to be true, but two years and 30,000 participants later, OsteoStrong is continuing to prove the power of its solution.

The brand began with just one location in Huntsville, AL in September 2012 and quickly expanded into Nebraska, Texas, and Tennessee. Today, 15 locations are open, but that number is about to change drastically.

On June 24, Zagrodzky will welcome nine regional developers representing 14 states to Nashville, Tenn. for a formal National Signing Day to dedicate 500 committed franchise locations in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.

"National Signing Day on June 24 is the OsteoStrong equivalent of the NFL's Signing Day. We're bringing our brand's all-stars to Nashville to formally execute all documents for the 500-plus committed franchise units, followed by a day of celebration, training and seminars to motivate and inspire," said Zagrodzky.

The OsteoStrong solution uses osteogenic loading, a brief, intensive resistance exercise that can bolster bone density, prevent fractures, strengthen muscles and tissue, and improve balance. Applying pressure through brief, acute activity stimulates the body's natural impulses to rebuild. Once the process of tissue growth has been triggered, bodies continue developing bone and muscle strength and density on their own.

Weight-bearing exercise for bone density and preservation is supported by the International Osteoporosis Foundation, the National Osteoporosis Foundation and the World Health Organization.; OsteoStrong calibrates every session to fit each user's individual needs so no one is ever pushed beyond their limits.

OsteoStrong's massive growth spurt is thanks to the simple fact that it helps people, and it works. Customers range in age from 8 to 92 and represent everyone from extreme athletes to seniors suffering from bone loss. The system has helped people with osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, those suffering from joint and back pain and even golfers looking for better longer drives.

At $50 to $80 a month, OsteoStrong is a low cost wellness option, especially for the many customers who no longer take medications for pain, arthritis, and bone density. Golfers say the improvement in their swing alone is priceless.

"Sometimes people have a hard time believing our claims—until they try it. It sounds like a miracle, but we have physician advocates, customer testimonials and a lot of research that support the incredible results OsteoStrong delivers. We are at the forefront of a worldwide wellness revolution," said Zagrodzky.

About OsteoStrong

OsteoStrong leverages osteogenic loading methodology to help people of all ages and fitness levels enhance strength, balance, endurance and bone density. Created using research in cellular biology, anti-aging, longevity and bone mass, the OsteoStrong system stimulates the body with optimal osteogenic training that only takes 10 minutes or less. This proprietary training naturally engages bone and muscle healing and growth and delivers many of the same benefits as long hours at the gym. However, the OsteoStrong system has a greatly reduced risk of injury and tissue trauma caused by exertive gym training. Plus, you won't even break a sweat!

Since the beginning, more than 30,000 people have seen amazing results. Many who attend sessions just once per week are reversing osteoporosis, improving balance, eliminating joint, back and knee pain, reversing fibromyalgia and regaining physical strength.

OsteoStrong began franchising in 2012. The brand currently has locations in Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, Illinois, Pennsylvanian, and Nebraska. More than 500 new units are scheduled to open in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
