June 24, 2014 // Franchising.com // COLUMBUS, OHIO - The chefs at Max & Erma's have made a contemporary twist on an American classic by creating the new Maple Oatmeal Raisin Cookie that will be served in restaurants starting Monday, June 23, 2014.
George Tagarelis, vice president, culinary at Max & Erma's, said his team created the perfect recipe with real, fresh, quality ingredients and came up with the ideal complement to the traditional American classic.
"We mixed real maple syrup with an infusion of cinnamon to make a sweet maple glaze that is drizzled on top of each cookie," Tagarelis said with a smile. "It's unlike any oatmeal raisin cookie I've seen or tried, and we can't wait to see what our guests have to say about it."
To underscore Max & Erma's commitment to the communities it serves and showcase this amazing new cookie, a donation will be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for every cookie given away on the June 25th Free Cookie Wednesday event.
