101 Mobility Long Island Is on a Rescue Mission!

101 Mobility Long Island teams up with the George to the Rescue TV series to help out the Klein family.

Long Island, NY (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 - John Michielini, owner of 101 Mobility Long Island, a mobility solutions provider and installer, aligned with several area builders, designers, and manufacturers to embark on an exciting NBC's George to the Rescue renovation project. Their mission: to help out a very deserving local family by outfitting their home for wheelchair accessibility. George to the Rescue, a well-known TV program, features host George Oliphant and his efforts to help families and communities in need by surprising them with home and public building renovations. When the show's producer asked John if he would be a part of the project, he enthusiastically agreed and brought along well-known Long Island contractor, Vinny Maldoon of Old World Quality Corporation.

For this particular rescue, beloved Floral Park Bellerose Elementary school teacher, Mrs. Klein, and her family were selected for a home redesign. Mrs. Klein has been wheelchair-bound for the past two years and has been living with Muscular Sclerosis for the past decade. The renovation will allow her and her husband to fully enjoy life in their newly wheelchair accessible home.

John Michielini and his professional team from 101 Mobility Long Island stepped up to the plate by providing an innovative and easy-to-operate vertical wheelchair lift complete with a certified installation for the Klein family.

The George to the Rescue Klein Family Rescue episode is set to air in September and includes the family's story, the complete renovation, and of course, the big reveal!
