Askar and his team of retail and franchising experts at Instant Imprints have recently launched a brand-new training program for new and existing franchisees with a specific focus on business development. Heading the initiative is Mike Boyd, a consultant with more than three decades of experience in franchising and training.

From start to finish, the training program spans more than 20 weeks. However, the first six weeks are the most hands-on with in-store training, mentorship arrangements and "Instant Imprints University (IIU)," where important business management and operational skills are emphasized alongside essential marketing planning. Following IIU are two weeks of post-class training where franchisees master Instant Imprints' four areas of promotional marketing expertise –, signs & banners, advertising specialties, custom T-shirts and branded apparel. Following the initial six weeks is the Instant Imprints-exclusive "FastStart" coaching program. Each new franchisee is provided with a coach who shares advice, experience and follow-up calls each week. With his background of business coaching and experience as a McDonald's trainer, Boyd helps set Instant Imprints' training program apart from other franchises.
